THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
SCHEDULE
Please note that for
the Thanksgiving holiday, the Village Hall offices will be closed both on
Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26th and the day after
Thanksgiving, Friday, November 27th. There will be no garbage pickup
on Thanksgiving, but there WILL be regularly scheduled sanitation pickup on
both Friday and Saturday (on your normal day for collection). Please plan ahead
for any needed overnight parking permits ($5 per car per night).
SMALL
BUSINESS SATURDAY
Saturday, November 28th
is known as Small Business Saturday. We encourage you to shop on Covert Avenue
that day, supporting the local merchants, especially this year! The Village has
made parking free at the meters on that day to help support this effort.
We encourage you to support our local small businesses.
The Stewart Manor Volunteer Fire Department is actively
seeking members for Fire / EMS. If interested, come down to the Firehouse
Thursdays at 8:00 PM or Sundays 10:00 AM or call the Firehouse at 516-354-0880
