ELECTION DAY AND VOTING
Just another reminder
that for those of you whose normal polling place for the general election is
the Village Hall, voting tomorrow, November 3rd will take place in
the Fire Department bays (not inside the Village Hall) this year to
allow for easier access. You will enter
the polling place via the glass doors in the middle of the driveway. If you normally vote at the Stewart Manor
School or elsewhere, we have no information on any changes to those locations.

VETERANS’ DAY
Village Hall will be
closed on Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans’ Day.
There will be no sanitation pickup that day and no curbside rubbish collection
of large items next week.
SAFETY REMINDER
Please remember to lock
your car at all times and to never leave valuables behind. In addition, the
NCPD reminds us that this time of year, with the daylight hours getting shorter
combined with the upcoming holidays (when many are not home), keeping your home
and vehicle locked is especially important.
You may also want to consider leaving outside lights on and installing
exterior motion detector lights. If you
notice anything you feel is suspicious at any time, including parked or idling
vehicles that look suspicious, you are urged to call 911.
