LEGAL NOTICE
Incorporated Village of Stewart Manor Zoning Board of
Appeals, Notice of Public Hearing. Notice is hereby given that a hearing before
the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Incorporated Village of Stewart Manor, New
York is scheduled for Monday, September 21, 2020 at 7:00 pm via Zoom video
conference. The information will be posted at least 48 hours prior to the
meeting on the Village’s website and on a note on the door of the Village Hall.
The following request for a variance will be heard: The first applicant, Ms. Natalie Molloy at 104 Fernwood Terrace, is proposing to add a one story rear extension/addition and demolish and
rebuild the attached one car garage in the same location and utilizing a
portion of the garage for living space reducing the required number of parking
spaces from 3 spaces to 2 spaces. She is
seeking variances from Sections: 200-13.: Height and Bulk; Schedule (Side
Yard and Aggregate), Section: 200-43.A.: Required number of Spaces. The
variances sought are: 4.55 feet in the North side yard for the 1 story addition,
1 off-street parking space, and 2.95 feet for the total aggregate. The second applicant, Ms.
Janice Hyland, at 38 Dover Parkway,
is proposing to add a one story 218.50 sq. ft. south side addition. She is
seeking a variance from Section: 200-13. Height and Bulk; schedule. (Total Aggregate).
The variance sought is: 2.2’ for the total aggregate. The applications and accompanying exhibits are on file and
may be inspected at the Village Office during normal business days between 9 a.m.
and 4 p.m. by appointment only. At said hearing, all parties and
interests will be given an opportunity to be heard.
