Incorporated Village of
Stewart Manor Zoning Board of Appeals, Notice of Public Hearing. Notice is
hereby given that a hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the
Incorporated Village of Stewart Manor, New York is scheduled for Monday, August
17, 2020 at 7:00 pm at the Village of Stewart Manor, 120 Covert Avenue, Stewart
Manor, NY 11530 or via Zoom video conference if permitted by an extension of
NYS Executive Order No. 202.1. If the meeting is held via Zoom video
conference, the information will be posted at least 48 hours prior to the
meeting on the Village’s website and on a note on the door of the Village Hall.
The following request for a variance will be heard: The applicant, Ms. Karen D’Alessio at 192 Fernwood Terrace, is proposing to add a roof over the existing 204
sq. ft. raised front terrace. She is seeking a variance from Section: 200-13.: Height and Bulk. Front Yard. The variance sought is: 8.93
feet in the front yard. The applications and
accompanying exhibits are on file and may be inspected at the Village Office
during normal business days between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. by appointment only. At
said hearing, all parties and interests will be given an opportunity to
be heard.
