Village Etiquette
Over the years, and including this week, we have received
numerous requests from our neighbors and have sent out several emails regarding
common sense approaches to basic etiquette issues that benefit the entire
village. Kindly review the below.
Dog Walking
We ask residents to please pick up after their pets and not
permit them to run at large. This is a
quality of life issue for all. Please
note that the strip of grass between the sidewalk and the street is an area
where dogs are not permitted to urinate and defecate. All dogs must be walked
on a leash and not allowed to run at large. Lastly, waste should never be
disposed of in catch basins or sewers.
Fire
Pits
While pits are allowed in the
Village with some restrictions (such as not after 11 p.m.), please be mindful
of your neighbors when operating a fire pit. We have received several
complaints over the years concerning the smell and the smoke generated by fire
pits.
