BIDS will be received by the Village Administrator of the Village of Stewart
Manor, New York at the Village Hall, 120 Covert Avenue, Stewart Manor, New York
11530 on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 9:00 a.m., at which time they will be
publicly opened and read, and the Contract awarded as soon thereafter as

Copies of the Specifications
and electronic file attachments may be obtained beginning 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at the
Village Hall, 120 Covert Avenue, Stewart Manor, for the non-refundable fee of $50.00
for each set, paid for by cash or check made out to the Village of Stewart
may be mailed or hand delivered to the Village Administrator, at the Village
Hall, 120 Covert Avenue, Stewart Manor, NY 11530, provided the Bid is actually
received by the Village Administrator prior to the time of public opening.
Bids must be sealed and submitted in the pre-marked envelope provided with the
Bid Documents, or must be sealed and submitted in a package (envelope) MARKED
IN THE SAME WAY as the pre-marked envelope provided with the Bid Documents.
BIDDERS MUST complete the required Contractor and Subcontractor's
Qualifications Statement and must provide a copy of the required Statement of
Financial Conditions, even if a Bidder is currently executing work for the Village.
Bids shall be in accordance with the requirements of the Specifications,
Contract Plans and terms of the proposed Contract.

accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond made payable to the Village of
Stewart Manor for an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the Bid price.
ARE HEREBY ADVISED THAT ALL BONDS AND INSURANCE DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED WILL BE
VERIFIED FOR AUTHENTICITY BY DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH THE SURETY/INSURANCE
BONDING AND INSURANCE COMPANIES MUST BE LICENSED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF
Village reserves the right to reject any or all of the Bids received, to re-advertise
for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all informalities in any Bid
received and to accept any proposal which the Village determines to be the
Lowest Responsible Bid in accordance with Article 5-A of the General Municipal
Village will not accept Bids from, nor award a Contract to, anyone who cannot
prove to the satisfaction of the Village Board that he has sufficient
experience in this type of construction and financially able and organized to
successfully carry out the work covered by the Plans and Specifications in the
required completion time. Special
qualification requirements are contained in the Contract Documents.
WILL BE A PRE-BID WALK-THROUGH ON TUESDAY, JULY 9, 2019 AT 9:00 AM AT THE STEWART
MANOR POOL (51 SALISBURY AVENUE, REAR OF THE STEWART MANOR COUNTRY CLUB, STEWART
MANOR, NY 11530). IT IS STONGLY
RECOMMENDED THAT ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ATTEND.
