BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING SCHEDULE
The next work
session of the Board of the Board of Trustees will be tomorrow, Thursday, March
28th at 1 p.m.
On
Monday, April 1st at 7:00 p.m. the Board of Trustees will hold the Annual
Organizational Meeting. Trustees William Grogan and Mary Carole Schafenberg
will be sworn in at the beginning of the meeting.
On
Tuesday, April 9th at 1p.m. the Board of Trustees will hold a public
hearing on the tentative 2019/2020 Budget. The budget will be presented and
public comment will be taken. A copy of the budget will be mailed to all taxpayers
next week.
EASTER EGG HUNT
The
Village of Stewart Manor will hold the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Stewart
Manor Country Club lawn on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. The children
(organized in groups) will search for chocolate eggs that are placed on the
east side of the Stewart Manor Country Club lawn by the trees. Children who
find a special egg will receive a special Easter Basket. Bring your own basket
to collect the chocolate eggs and bring a camera for photos. The Easter Bunny
will be our special guest and will arrive with the assistance of the Stewart
Manor Fire Department. Please come with your children and grandchildren.
During
the Third Track Construction Project, all merchants on Covert Avenue will
remain open for business. Please make every effort to support your local
businesses.
The Stewart Manor Volunteer Fire Department is
actively seeking members for Fire / EMS. If interested, come down to the
Firehouse Thursdays at 8:00 PM or Sundays 10:00 AM or call the Firehouse at
516-354-0880. Help provide emergency services to your friends and neighbors.
