POOL EMPLOYMENT

As a reminder, Summer Employment Applications for the Stewart Manor Pool have been posted to the website and are also available for pick up at Village Hall. Please note you must be at least 16 years old with valid working papers at the time you submit your application.

Lifeguards must also have:

  • current Nassau County DOH Lifeguard Certification (valid through 9/2019) 

  • current CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certification (one-year certification, valid through 9/2019)

  •  

No incomplete applications can be accepted.

SOUND THE ALARM PROGRAM

The Village of Stewart Manor is partnering with American Red Cross Long Island for the Home Fire Campaign with its Sound the Alarm program. The Red Cross volunteers will donate and install smoke alarms in residents’ homes. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 4th. Full details, as to sign-up and times, still to come.

 

BUDGET WORK SESSION

The Board of Trustees will hold a Budget Work Session on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 6 p.m. at the Village Hall.

 

The Stewart Manor Volunteer Fire Department is actively seeking members for Fire / EMS. If interested, come down to the Firehouse Thursdays at 8:00 PM or Sundays 10:00 AM or call the Firehouse at 516-354-0880. Help provide emergency services to your friends and neighbors.
