NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE VILLAGE OF STEWART MANOR

 

NOTICE is hereby given that the Tentative Budget for the Inc. Village of Stewart Manor, New York for the 2019-20 Fiscal Year has been completed by the Budget Officer and a copy thereof has been filed in the Office of the Village Clerk at the Village Hall, 120 Covert Avenue, Stewart Manor, NY.  On Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., there will be a public meeting for the purpose of hearing any and all interested persons in connection herewith and to consider such budget for final adoption.  The tentative budget is available for inspection by the public during normal business hours beginning April 1, 2019. The proposed compensation for the Board of Trustees is as follows: $2,500 per annum for the Trustees, $2,500 for Village Justice and $3,000 for Mayor. Mayor Onorato has declined to receive this $3,000.       

 

In addition, pursuant to Section 495 of the Real Property Tax Law, the Local Government Exemption Impact Report is attached to the Tentative Budget for the Year 2018-19.  The Report will be a part of the Final Budget for the year 2019-20.  The Report is also posted on the Budgeting Authority’s bulletin board maintained for public notices.
