The Board
of Trustees Work Session that was scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, November 1st
has been cancelled.
VETERANS’ DAY
Village
Hall will be closed on Monday, November 12th in observance of
Veterans’ Day. There will be sanitation pickup that day.
LEAF REMINDER
Now
that fall is upon us and the leaves are dropping, all leaves raked by residents
must be put in plastic bags and put to the curb on your regular garbage day.
Landscapers must remove any leaves and other debris they collect. At no time
should leaves be piled at the curbside unbagged or blown into the street nor
should any items be swept or placed in the Village’s catch basins. Doing so
creates a nuisance for your neighbors and will result in a Village summons.
The Stewart Manor Volunteer Fire
Department is actively seeking members for Fire / EMS. If interested, come
down to the Firehouse Thursdays at 8:00 PM or Sundays 10:00 AM or call the Firehouse
at 516-354-0880. Help provide emergency services to your friends and neighbors.
