Also tomorrow, St. James Lutheran Church on Chester Avenue will be celebrating its 85th Anniversary. The members of St. James are welcoming neighbors and friends to visit the Church from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Mayor will be presenting a proclamation around 11:15 a.m.
The Stewart Manor branch of the Elmont Memorial Library located on Covert Avenue is scheduled to close on Friday, October 12th. The Library is encouraging the use of the main branch at 700 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont.
