Information regarding a CPR class at Village Hall on September 25th

Mr. Larry Quinn, who many of you know as a Pool Supervisor, has volunteered to conduct a CPR course, specifically the “American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR AED” course at the Village Hall on Saturday, September 30th from 9 a.m. to noon for a cost of $25, which covers the materials and the certification card.  This course is intended for someone who has little or no medical training (not recertification for medical professionals or lifeguards etc.).  It is designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR and AED use for adults in a safe, timely and effective manner.  Care for infants and children is not covered in this class.  The class will be limited to six people.  If there is enough interest, a second class will be added for the following Saturday, October 7th.  In order to reserve your place in this class (first come, first serve), please fill out the attached form and return it to the Village Hall with a check made out to “Laurence Quinn”.

The next meeting of the Town-Village Aircraft Safety & Noise Abatement Committee will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Nathan L. Bennett Pavillion, Town Hall, One Washington Street, Hempstead, NY. Please make a note if you would like to attend.

The Stewart Manor Volunteer Fire Department is actively seeking members for Fire / EMS. If interested, come down to the Firehouse Thursdays at 8:00 PM or Sundays 10:00 AM or call the Firehouse at 516-354-0880. Help provide emergency services to your friends and neighbors.
