POOL OPENING THIS FRIDAY AT 4
P.M.
The
Stewart Manor Pool will open for the season this Friday, June 16th at 4 p.m.
(to 9 p.m.). We continue to accept Stewart Manor resident pool membership
applications at the Village Hall throughout the summer. The pool season will
run until 5 p.m. on Labor Day, Monday, September 4th. If you haven’t already
done so, please consider joining and enjoying all the pool has to offer. Also
remember that residents, whether pool members or not, can purchase a one-day
guest pass to the pool for $50 (at the Village Hall). This will allow up to eight people to enter
the pool for one day. Calendars of pool
activities will be available at the pool.
VILLAGE RECYCLING CONTAINERS
ON SALE
Beginning Monday, June 19th, Village recycling containers
will be available at a discounted rate of $15 each at the Village Hall between
9:00 a.m. and 3 p.m. These are the newer, forest green containers with a lid
and Village logo (not the old lighter green bins). The supply is somewhat limited, so they will
be sold on a first come, first served basis.
PORTABLE
BASKETBALL HOOP REMINDER
Portable
Basketball Hoops that are located at curbside must be set back from the curb so
that the hoop itself does not overhang into the street and interfere with any
passing vehicles that are high enough to obstruct the hoop. Please do not place
these portable basketball hoops where they block the sidewalk or street
creating a hazard to pedestrians and vehicles. Hoops that overhang into the
street will interfere with the street sweeper, garbage trucks, and other large
vehicles. Lastly, we ask that you consider your neighbors with regard to the hours
during which basketball is played. Thank you for your cooperation in this
matter.

VACATION BIBLE CAMP
St. James
Lutheran Church will hold its Annual Vacation Bible Camp August 21 to August
25, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon for children 4 to 12 years of age.
The cost
for the first child is $30.00.
The cost
for the second child of the same parent is $15.00.
The cost
for the third child of the same parent is $5.00.
Open registration will be Mondays
and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
