LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE
VILLAGE OF STEWART MANOR
NOTICE is hereby given that the Tentative Budget for the Inc. Village of Stewart Manor, Stewart Manor, New York for the 2015-16 Fiscal Year has been completed by the Budget Officer and a copy thereof will been filed in the Office of the Village Clerk at the Village Hall, 120 Covert Avenue, Stewart Manor, NY. On Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., there will be a public meeting for the purpose of hearing any and all interested persons in connection herewith and to consider such budget for final adoption. The tentative budget is available for inspection by the public during normal business hours beginning April 8, 2015. The proposed compensation for the Board of Trustees is as follows: $2,000 per annum for Trustees, with Deputy Mayor/Trustee Onorato declining his salary; and $3,000 per annum for the Mayor.
In addition, pursuant to Section 495 of the Real Property Tax Law, the Local Government Exemption Impact Report is attached to the Tentative Budget for the Year 2015-16. The Report will be a part of the Final Budget for the year 2015/16. The Report is also posted on the Budgeting Authority's bulletin board maintained for public notices.
