The following information has been provided by the Town-Village Aircraft Safety & Noise Abatement Committee (TVASANAC):
A meeting of the Town-Village Aircraft Safety & Noise Abatement Committee (TVASANAC), hosted by the Village of New Hyde Park, will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at The New Hyde Park Road School Auditorium located at 300 New Hyde Park Road (3 blocks north of Jericho Turnpike). There is ample parking in the rear.
The meeting will be a forum for residents affected by low-flying aircraft, to express their concerns to anticipated participation by FAA and PA representatives and elected officials. A discussion will follow on how we can ensure safer, quieter skies.
