The Annual Public Hearing at which the Board of Trustees will present the 2012-2013 Budget will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 8 p.m. A budget mailing was sent to every address in the Village this past week. A copy is also attached to this email for anyone who might have missed it. The tax levy will increase by .91% for the coming year. A household with an average assessment will see a $10.49 increase to their tax bill next year.
The Village Hall will close at noon today for Good Friday. There will be regular sanitation pickup tomorrow (for those of you with Saturday service). The Village Hall will re-open on Monday at 9 a.m.
Also, as most landscapers have begun work in the neighborhood, please keep in mind that your landscaper must be licensed with the Village. They also must adhere to the work hours established for professional landscaping work which are: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and no holidays. . Landscapers are required to remove ALL debris and yard waste from the premises. At no time is anyone permitted to place debris, yard waste or clippings into the street or down a catch basin or storm drain. Summonses are being issued to those in violation of the above.
