FIRE DEPARTMENT 4th of JULY PARADE
Next Thursday, July 4th, the Fire Department will be hosting the 15th annual July 4th parade beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Stewart Avenue and continue throughout the Village. As in past years there will be patriotic floats, bands, antique cars and trucks and elected officials participating in the parade. Afterwards there will be the customary block party and barbeque in the municipal parking lot with food and entertainment for all ages. Be sure to come out and enjoy the holiday with your friends and neighbors. If you live along the parade route please try to keep your car off the street as to allow the parade to pass safely. Please also be mindful that children do not run into the street during the parade but remain on the sidewalk. And please be sure to display your American flag. More parade information can be found at the Fire Department's website at http://stewartmanorfire.com/wp/?p=32 and on the attached flyer.
Please remember that the Village Offices will be closed Thursday, July 4th in observance of the holiday and there will be NO sanitation pick up that day.
